Is this the end of the line for diversity policies?
One of the most important management trends of the past decade may no longer be equal to the occasion.
Few business groups have pushed harder for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices than the Australian Human Resources Institute.
At the organisation’s three-day national conference in Melbourne this week, only one session was solely dedicated to what is probably the most-important governance shift of the past decade. And that session, a presentation by a Sydney academic, competed with two separate seminars on retaining workers.
