How bosses are using generative AI to work smarter, better

Generative AI and chatbots that can answer questions much faster than managers and HR personnel are helping to slash workloads and free up executives for higher-value work, say several executives who have embraced the newest wave of automation.

But companies are still divided on whether automation and the adoption of new AI technology will guarantee productivity and efficiency gains, arguing that human know-how, empathy, soft skills and critical reasoning are still needed to get the biggest benefit from technology.
