The 10 occupations targeted by ACTU gender pay blitz

Unions are lining up hundreds of thousands of workers for the next wave of gender pay increases, from retail staff and hairdressers to legal conveyancers and receptionists.

The ACTU has asked the Fair Work Commission’s minimum wage panel to prioritise 10 occupations for pay reviews in its decision next month and has flagged several more in the coming years, covering about 350,000 workers.
