Major builder Hutchinson says a disgraced CFMEU official’s boast that he could exploit his relationships with $100 billion superannuation fund Cbus to control which contractors get work on its construction sites is garbage.
Scott Hutchinson’s rejection of the claim came as the CFMEU on Thursday disowned Darren Greenfield, the union’s former NSW secretary who last month confessed to taking bribes after four years of denials and drawn out court proceedings.
