Corrs lags top law firms on gender pay gap

Corrs Chambers Westgarth has recorded the largest gender pay gap among Australia’s major law firms, and attributed its outsized pay disparity to “employing more females than males”.
The firm, which also has the lowest proportion of female partners among the top firms, recorded a median pay gap based on total remuneration of 19 per cent, according to data released on Tuesday by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.
