A rogue CFMEU delegate backed by the union’s ousted leaders has publicly called on thousands of construction workers to ignore the union administrator after warnings resulted in significantly diminished turnout at protests.

Sacked CFMEU NSW leader Darren Greenfield and outspoken Watpac delegate Denis McNamara urged further industry walkouts to protest the CFMEU administration at a Sydney rally of 2500 protesters on Tuesday, even as the turnout was less than half the 6000-8000 at previous marches.
