Borders are opening but the Sydney-Melbourne schlep isn’t coming back

Airlines may not like it, but fewer professionals plan to schlep from Sydney to Melbourne and back again in a single day when business travel resumes between the two cities.

With Victoria reopening its borders to NSW this week, one-way travel on one of the world’s busiest domestic route returned. But business travellers will need to wait a little longer until NSW scraps the requirement for anyone coming from Victoria to complete 14 days in isolation.
