BHP could drop vaccination requirement for workers

BHP is reviewing whether to drop its vaccination mandate for thousands of staff, visitors and job applicants as a result of the reduced risk of COVID-19.

More than a year after 700 unvaccinated workers were forced to leave as a result of the mandate, the mining giant is set to finish consultation with its workforce by Wednesday on dropping the requirement, and reach a decision by the end of the month.
