University of Queensland sets a goal of raising $500 million from donors by 2020

The University of Queensland (UQ) has followed in the footsteps of other Group of Eight universities by launching a $500 million multi-year, fund raising campaign.

The university's "Not If, When" philanthropy push, launched by vice-chancellor Peter Høj at a dinner on Saturday night, aims to reach the $500 million goal by the end of 2020.
