On one hand Malcolm Turnbull is to be congratulated for attempting to shift the culture in Australian politics by banning ministers from having sexual relations with staff or members of the Australian public service.

Many will decry Turnbull's stance as moralistic even though the fact that it encompasses single and married ministers counts against that claim.
