The signs that business is getting its mojo back

Business may not be flavour of the month, or year, but it does seem to be getting some of its mojo back after the horrors of the banking royal commission, the energy price wars and rows over inflated executive pay.

The likes of Westpac and wealth group AMP may still be suffering from the aftermath of the royal commission, but nowadays chief executives are far quicker to apologise, publicly admit shortcomings and compensate aggrieved customers. Meanwhile, energy company bosses have made themselves a small target.
