Domino’s CEO Don Meij says investors expect ‘perfection’ from large ASX companies, as he regroups and avoids becoming ‘lost in the past’.

Don Meij, the chief executive of pizza giant Domino’s Pizza for 21 years, is a huge admirer of US film director Quentin Tarantino.

He loves settling in with a Domino’s pepperoni pizza and watching the master director’s works on the small screen. The classic Pulp Fiction is not his favourite, although he does rate it highly. Inglourious Basterds, the action-packed 2009 film set in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, starring Brad Pitt, is his top pick. It is riveting and “simply outstanding”, he says.
