Amanda Sellers doesn’t seem fazed that she has been made the first female to lead the country’s biggest beer company, just as beer consumption hits record lows.

Australians are drinking a third less alcohol via beer than 20 years ago, as consumers have switched to lower-strength beers and other drinks. Last year was particularly hard going, with beer sales down 3 per cent.
