76pc of Aussies refuse to help someone with opposing views
More than three-quarters of Australians say they would refuse to help someone who strongly disagreed with their views, as public trust declines and the country becomes increasingly polarised, the annual Edelman trust survey reveals.
This year’s data finds that almost half of Australians (45 per cent) believe the nation is more divided today than in the past, however business has emerged as a key institution that could help bridge the divide.
