Two thousand computers from consulting firm Deloitte that were destined for landfill will soon be in the hands of some of the millions of school students who don’t have a digital device at home.
The consulting firm has signed up for a program run by social enterprise WorkVentures, which refurbishes donated corporate computers and distributes them to organisations such as The Smith Family to give to families in need.
