Universities monitor their cohorts closely, and Macquarie Business School is a little surprised it has picked up professional rugby players and entertainers in an online MBA program, all preparing for possible career change.

Such demographics are a determinant for course planners, and University of Technology Sydney Business School is launching a new Executive MBA program (EMBA) this year that replaces the award course it has been offering for about 15 years to participants with professional work experience.
