Universities around Australia are offering postgraduate degrees to students wishing to join the expanding climate change-related workforce or incorporate climate change into their existing roles.

A government report from 2023 – The Clean Energy Generation, Workforce needs for a net zero economy – outlines 38 critical clean energy occupations, that will enjoy strong job growth. An extra 240,000 will be needed in the next seven years, with much of the demand coming from regional Australia.
