University fees are too expensive for most international students and the coronavirus is a wake-up call that should prompt managements to lower their price point and create a more stable business model, says the national sector leader at KPMG and former university vice-chancellor Stephen Parker.

Stephen Parker says universities find it difficult to lower their fees, mainly because it looks like they are going downmarket or are somehow weakening the market.
