Surging demand from international students pushed up revenues at IDP Education with the company declaring a record half-year performance after posting an $84.4 million adjusted first half net profit.
Tennealle O’Shannessy, the newly appointed chief executive of the student recruitment and English-language testing firm, said the strong rebound in international education was due to a combination of booming demand alongside supportive government policies in Australia, Canada and the UK to attract more students and skilled workers.
