Forget Trump and Harvard. Australian universities have an AI problem

Many students now lack the general, or even specific knowledge, to know when AI is hallucinating. Even middle-of-the-range students might not be good enough in this new world to get a job.

Harvard, quite frankly, has it coming. The Trump administration is waging war against elite US universities. To borrow a phrase from Game of Thrones, he is insisting that they “bend the knee” and will blow them up if they don’t.

US conservatives can rattle off a whole range of complaints about universities. They are too expensive, not providing value for money, with far too many administrators. They have become increasingly “woke” and engage in cancel culture.
