After a semester studying on the Gold Coast, German exchange student Julia Senz is not only closer to graduating, but she can count the time spent improving her surfing towards her degree.

The 25-year-old from Berlin is one of the 70 students enrolled in the course titled “Gold Coast surf, culture, and storytelling”, a new subject offered at Bond University.
