This was the first time the full diversity of Australian universities had been reflected using a more holistic and thorough range of measures than the traditional rankings compiled by overseas mastheads.
In 2024, The Australian Financial Review Best Universities Ranking again reflects a more student-centric and nuanced analysis of performance and quality than global lists that rely heavily on measures of research that can be compared across different nations.
