Director urges equality advocates to leave their echo chamber

The gender equity movement needs to leave its “own echo chamber” and become more inclusive of men and boys or risk going backwards, leading non-executive director Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz has warned.

Building on recent comments from former prime minister Julia Gillard, Ms Lloyd-Hurwitz believes equity advocates are failing to engage with young men and their campaign had become exclusionary as a result.
