Founder of Super Amart furniture juggernaut and Financial Review Rich Lister John Van Lieshout and wife Linda have sold their luxury retreat on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, setting a suburb record for the hinterland hamlet of Maleny.

While the exact price is undisclosed, the property, called Mountain View Manor, sold for between $12.2 million and $12.3 million, after the Queensland billionaire deemed the luxury acreage surplus to needs.
