Why it’s time to hedge your portfolio
As central banks battle inflation a likely ‘revenge rally’ by the US dollar will give investors pause for thought.

The Federal Reserve signalled that its rate cycle was nearing completion while the European Central Bank was forceful it had some way to go. Even the Bank of Japan surprised with a reversal of its zero rate policy.
Given transitions are often messy and uneven, a revenge rally by the US dollar is likely, giving time to consider how to incorporate exchange rates into a portfolio.
