On July 1, Jake Klein stepped down as executive chairman of Evolution Mining, becoming non-executive chairman of the gold and copper company he has spent the past 15 years building.

Klein is fast becoming a serial entrepreneur. Evolution is not the first miner he has set up, and it won’t be the last.
