Evolution Mining has posted a bumper windfall from gold’s bull run, with the astronomical price of bullion allowing the miner to sell its bars for triple their production cost.
The ASX-listed company, which operates six mines across Australia and Canada, said its cost to extract gold is roughly $1600 per ounce, while it has sold bullion at more than $5100.
