Lurlene and Anthony Bailey spent most of the money they made from the sale of their family home setting themselves up in a retirement village in Canberra. But now they face a tough choice.
Mrs Bailey has Alzheimer’s disease and is approaching the stage at which her husband can no longer give her all the care she needs. Mr Bailey is fit enough to stay put, but his wife will soon need to be admitted to care.
