The financial viability of many aged care operators might be under threat, but that shouldn’t mean they can’t show some compassion in their decision-making to close or expand. After all, they must be operating in this sector for a reason.

As it stands, financial decisions being made by some providers are putting existing and future residents at personal and financial risk.
