Private school fees are set to rise by up to three times the rate of inflation in 2024, putting even more pressure on families already struggling with rising interest rates and the soaring cost of living.
Tam and Phil Orr, like many other parents facing higher property prices when moving closer to their children’s schools, relocated 12 years ago from Sydney’s inner-west to the upper-north shore suburb of Pymble, where real estate has increased about 12 per cent over the last three years.
