Cut fee-charging private schools from taxpayer teat, says think tank

Private schools that charge fees and refuse to open their doors to a cross-section of the community should not be allowed to receive government subsidies, a think tank says.
The Australian Learning Lecture (ALL) says the way Australian schools are funded encourages segregation which, in turns, worsens the “unacceptable” learning gap between rich and poor students.
