Tax experts warn NSW government’s proposed property reforms are “full of anomalies” creating new incentives for speculators and more relief for top-end property owners.
The NSW government is consulting on a revised property tax structure giving buyers the choice to pay either stamp duty and land tax, or a new annual property tax, all of which are administered by the state.
