Cyber scammers are using artificial intelligence to help them make more frequent and more sophisticated attacks on organisations around the world, including in Australia.

The Australian Signals Directorate, the government agency overseeing the nation’s cybersecurity, warns that AI presents risks such as malicious actors using AI tools to expand their activities, including using generative AI to produce low-effort, high-quality material for phishing attacks.
