Millions for Australian start-up using AI to change how we see

Arkeus, an ambitious Melbourne start-up that has secured early contracts with the Defence Department for its automated optical technology that lets users see much more than is possible with the human eye, has closed a $4.45 million funding round.

The round was led by the CSIRO-backed venture capital firm Main Sequence Ventures, which put in just shy of $3 million from its Core Fund 3 and Parallel funds, according to details lodged with the corporate regulator.
