Canva valuation hits $3.6b after capital raising
Graphic design software company Canva has confirmed it's raised $70 million from US venture firm General Catalyst, giving it a $US2.5 billion ($3.6 billion) valuation.
The fresh funding round, first revealed by Street Talk on Monday, comes after the company said it acquired two of the world's biggest free stock photography and image providers as part of a plan to start selling subscriptions to users for unlimited access to stock content.
