When the next great hope of Australia's emerging tech start-up scene Canva acquired two German photo companies late last week, its co-founder and chief executive Melanie Perkins remained tight-lipped when asked about how it was going to fund its continued global expansion plans.
It seems now this reticence was due to the impending announcement of a new mega funding round.
