Cue Energy ’s freshly minted joint venture with Woodside Petroleum may offer some explanation of Cue’s reluctance to endorse the nearby Artemis joint venture.
Cue on Tuesday afternoon announced Woodside would farm in to Cue’s WA-389-P permit in the Carnarvon Basin, which Cue says has the potential to host “multi trillion cubic feet volumes of natural gas". Woodside will pay $US5 million and cover all the costs of seismic surveys and the first exploration well at the Caterina project.
