McNamara set to depart Potentia Capital after $1.35b Micromine exit

The fall-out between Andy Gray and Tim Reed of Potentia Capital fame has claimed another high-value victim.

Street Talk can reveal Michael McNamara, the 40-year-old deal maker behind several of Potentia’s juiciest exits, is working through a staged departure after a decade with the technology-focused buyout firm. That’s less than a month after Potentia agreed to the $1.35 billion sale of mining software business Micromine to Weir Group Plc.
