Potentia Capital divests Micromine for $1.35b to Weir Group Plc

Specialist technology sector investment house Potentia Capital has sold mining software business Micromine for $1.35 billion to Weir Group Plc.

The sale price equates to a 50 per cent increase on the $900 million price tag Potentia agreed in 2022 with Micromine’s erstwhile acquirer, Nasdaq-listed Aspen Technology, before it ran into issues with Russian regulators.
