Homesafe lands with local asset manager after Bendigo exit

Homegrown powerhouse Federation Asset Management is seeking to transform Australia’s $2 trillion retiree residential real estate market after nabbing Peter Szabo’s interest in Homesafe Solutions, an equity release business he founded almost two decades ago and grew alongside ASX-listed Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.

Street Talk can reveal Federation and Szabo inked a deal on Saturday which will see the private equity firm acquire 100 per cent of Homesafe’s share capital and restructure the board.
