The Electrical Trades Union might be stalling the construction of thousands of homes across Sydney due to a pay dispute with power companies. But never let it be said the sparkies don’t care about housing affordability.

We can reveal the ETU has put a five-bedroom, three-bathroom, two-rumpus-room McMansion up for sale in Sydney’s Oyster Bay. The ample house, which once housed the union’s boss, also features a butler’s pantry and pool.
