Justin Milne to replace Jim Spigelman as ABC chairman

The Prime Minister will later this week name MYOB and Netcomm chairman Justin Milne as the next chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, replacing former NSW Chief Justice and Gough Whitlam staffer Jim Spigelman.

Milne is also a director of NBN Co, Tabcorp (on whose Board he sits alongside NBN chair Ziggy Switkowski) and before that spent eight years at the helm of Telstra's broadband and media divisions (where he also worked with the Zig). You'd imagine Milne will need to step down as an NBN director given the state-owned telco's position as a carrier of Aunty's streamed content.
