The billionaire’s builders found a novel way to help save the planet.

The thing about billionaires is they’re not like us. Take Jeff Bezos and his Venice wedding monstrosity earlier this week. One of Bezos’ side celebrations was themed as a “foam party”. Jeff, please, you’re 61 years old.

Closer to home we’ve got Annie Cannon-Brookes, recently separated from husband Mike Cannon-Brookes. She bought Dunk Island in Far North Queensland for $23.65 million in 2022, while they were still together. It is part of an effort to rehabilitate a spectacular parcel buttressing the Great Barrier Reef. That is, if she can keep the lights on.
