Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes and his wife Annie have joined the rush of wealthy Sydney investors buying up islands on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef after snapping up one of the region’s best known properties, Dunk Island.

Title records obtained by The Australian Financial Review show the 147 hectare freehold property opposite Mission Beach was acquired by Green Seaweed 1 (as trustee) for $23.65 million.
