Four years after Lacrosse fire, LU Simon to replace cladding for $5.6 million

Builder LU Simon will replace the combustible cladding on Melbourne's Lacrosse building for $5.6 million, more than four years after fire raced up 13 storeys of the building in as little as 10 minutes.
The agreed price is low and not necessarily a benchmark for what it would cost to reclad similar residential towers.
