Shopping for a new premier in South Australia
South Australia goes to the polls next weekend and experts believe Premier Steven Marshall is increasingly likely to be shunted out after just one term in favour of Labor leader Peter Malinauskas.
Roger Drake, a supermarket supremo who runs 64 outlets under the Drakes banner in South Australia and Queensland, thinks Labor leader Peter Malinauskas will make a fine premier in South Australia.
“He’s tough but he’s fair. I reckon he’s more right than he’s left,” Drake says. “As long as he leads and doesn’t just try to manage, he’ll be very good for the state”.
