Sue Chrysanthou, SC, has been barred from representing Christian Porter in his defamation action against the ABC.
Justice Thomas Thawley made the ruling on the basis Ms Chrysanthou was given confidential information in a November 20 meeting with a friend of the woman who accused Mr Porter of raping her in 1988.
