The Reserve Bank of Australia has warned that federal policies to cut the number of international students are resulting in weaker exports and could hold longer-term implications for the health of the economy.
The RBA on Tuesday noted that exports over the year to September were lower than predicted, driven mostly by declining international student numbers.
