PM to introduce religious freedom plan this week
Scott Morrison will introduce new religious freedom legislation into Parliament this Thursday, signalling his personal commitment to better protect communities of faith ahead of the federal election campaign.
Telling divided Liberal and Nationals MPs his plan would not enable new forms of discrimination in Australia, the Prime Minister on Tuesday confirmed the government’s long-awaited plan would be the subject of a Senate inquiry.
