Religious freedom laws set for release

The Coalition is cautiously optimistic Labor will co-operate to pass new religious freedom laws, as Tuesday emerges as a critical day for the plan first promised by Prime Minister Scott Morrison three years ago.

Attorney-General Michaelia Cash will unveil draft legislation to Liberal and Nationals MPs in a joint party room meeting at Parliament House, after making dozens of calls to colleagues in recent weeks.
